Who's Behind This?
I'm Theo Bennett — software engineer, remote worker, and someone who got sick of overpaying for phone service.
After switching my whole family off big carriers and saving us hundreds per year, I started helping friends do the same. Turns out most "best carrier" lists online are just affiliate farms pushing whoever pays the highest commission.
Prepaid Report is what I wished existed when I started — honest rankings based on actual data, not marketing budgets.
Why I Built This
Try searching "best prepaid carrier" — you'll find the same recycled lists ranking whoever has the best affiliate program that month. Mint Mobile shows up everywhere not because it's the best, but because they pay well.
The reality? Carriers like Visible and Tello consistently outperform the heavily-marketed options on metrics that actually matter: price transparency, security features, data priority, and customer service.
I wanted a site that ranks carriers on measurable criteria — not vibes, not ad spend, not "our editors picked."
